About Moon Magic
Moon Magic AKA the Hip Hop Witch AKA Vibe Fairy, turns pain into power finding her voice in her music. Rooted in Hip Hop, raw lyricism, soul, and the belief that music can act as a channel for alchemy allowing us to heal, empower, & transform. Moon Magic is an artist, educator, emcee, producer, DJ, and tarot reader bringing truth, growth, and intention to every stage. Moon Magic has a Master’s in Urban Education, Bachelor’s in Political Science, & two minors with a focus in Multicultural Leadership & Spanish. She made her artist debut in the Sacramento scene in 2017 & has since opened for well-renowned acts such as Oshun, The Grouch & Murs, Tajai & A-Plus from Hieroglyphics, Vel Nine & Teacha KRS-One, Pharcyde, Talib Kweli, GZA, and many more. Moon Magic has toured throughout the United States and internationally; along with touring throughout the UK and California with Teacha KRS-One. Most recently, she went on a Northern California tour run with Vel Nine and Queens of the Underground. Raised as a baby in the analog age, but matured in the digital, Moon Magic’s sound is inspired by the sounds of legends like J. Cole, MF DOOM, KRS-One, Gang Starr, & Erykah Badu. Moon Magic is an old soul with a fresh perspective searching for authenticity in a world that often teaches us to hate ourselves and strips us from our truth.
